Tamanna ne zindegi ki godi mein sar rakh ke puchha,
Mein puri kab hungi…
Toh zindegi ne muskurake kaha,
Jo puri ho jaye woh "Tamanna" hi Kya …
PROLOGUE
Travelling alone with this terrible shock
was tearing Siddharth apart in his loneliness. Even after all these years, the
memory of Samedha evoked a pain in him that was as sharp as ever. No one had
ever touched his heart and soul, so deeply as Samedha had and no one ever would
again.
What ever Siddharth had seen in the past
few hours was flashing through his mind. Her face, her fingers, her expressive
eyes, her last words, “I love…”
“Sam, you didn’t even give me a chance to
join my hands in front of God and pray for you. And at this point of time I
could not even go to you and tell you the truth that I too had cried myself to
sleep for nights, missing you more than I would have missed my heart, if it
would have been taken from me. I never understood what you wanted to convey me
in our first meeting but today your silence spoke to me. And now when I
understood you and your words, I don’t have you to express myself. Forgive me
Sam.......”
Siddharth tried to imagine Samedha’s pain,
when she took her last breath. He was blank. All that was coming to his mind
was, he needed to go back home, go back to his life…
- to be continued...
PS: I wanna thank Renu, for her hard work and invaluable
feedback. If you would not have read my each draft again and again then I would
have missed the “WOW” factor. And thanks for such a nice Shayari, to start up.
